Sarr possibly the only player to have come out of that disaster with any credit. Davies didn't do anything wrong either, but should have been left at LWB. When Lucas Is the nnext least worst option, you have to know something has gone seriously wrong!

Conte. He's the manager and that was a very Conte game.
Five at the back against a lower league team with a bunch of squad players, who lose.

I'm sick of negative, defensive coaches, regardless of results.
They don't suit the club, the squad or the fans.

This is getting retweeted everywhere on my timeline, both by Spurs and non-Spurs.

The funniest (not funny) thing is he done almost a carbon copy in the Chelsea game.

How… just how/ why/ what possessed us to splash on this guy… I just do not get it, I can’t wrap my bloody head around it. I’m actually angry at the club, the Ndombele and Lo Celso deals had set us back so much and so the need to be more cautious on who we splash big on was more important than ever and then we go and chuck £60-****ing-million at a relegation battling side’s striker.

**** sake, seriously just **** sake.

So he’s at fault when they lose and he’s not there but Stellini gets the credit when they win and Conte isn’t there?

That's a shameful quote, for me. Utterly embarrassing and typical of our recent coaches.
You don't throw the players under the bus for bad results. They're your fault. You're the manager.
If they went into it with the wrong mentality, which I don't think they did, it's on you.
It's part of what you're being paid to do. They've seen this happen, over and over.

You picked the wrong team in the wrong system and didn't change it quickly enough.
Was Leicester complacency? Was Milan? Was ****ing Arsenal? No. **** off. :emoticon-0173-middl

In a way, yes. We've looked utterly **** with Conte this year.
If he's not there and we don't, then it looks bad for him.
Stellini's his assistant and if he can get more from the same players, then that's a problem.

It's still on the manager when we lose, though. That's his job. He's heavily involved, apparently.
He chooses the players and tactics and even the coaches, so any bad performance is on him.

3 seasons in a row we’ve got knocked out at this stage to lower league opposition regardless of who our manager is

**** knows what the issue is but I don’t think it’s solely the manager

And they've all done the same ****.
Brought in players from the cold, played defensive, negative systems and created **** all.

Sanchez and Moura have played a combined 17 Premier League minutes this year.
Our leading goalscorers in that team were Son, who doesn't score when Perisic plays and Hojbjerg.

Why were we going to a defensive side with injuries and playing a cagey, negative team?
Why play five at the back and match them up? Why pick an old winger at left wingback?
We pick players with busted confidence and fitness, then blame them for playing ****.

He has been one of our most disappointing signings in recent history, mitigated only by the fact that he was free. Two assists and zero goals in all competitions since the world cup. It isn't good enough, no matter how you slice it.

Together with Richarlison, serves as proof that Conte hasn't got a clue what he is doing in the market, as he regularly showed at Chelsea.

All them players that started tonight have had minutes already this season.

They can’t all play every week..we do have a best XI

They should be training hard that’s why they get paid, they are not injured are they?

It’s up to them to take these chances but they can’t beat the likes of Forest and Sheffield United and create further chances for themselves.

If Stellini is suggesting something about mentality then he’s right…we have been mentioning mentality for a good few years now. Before a ball was kicked tonight I mentioned attitude…unfortunately it was the wrong one.

We had plenty chances to win regardless of formation imo.

    I don't think it's about his quality, he's just not a wingback.
He'd probably do better than Kulusevski at the moment, even though that's not his main side.
He'd find it very difficult to be worse than Son, too.

Not quite the case but it's 4 years at this stage by poor teams.

Norwich 2020 at home on pens (they were relegated)
    Everton 2021 away 5-4 to a pretty ****e team
    Boro 2022 away and tonight.

Add in Forest in the league Cup this season
And Colchester in 2019 it's pretty poor.

But tbh I think it's cos getting into Europe means more to the club so weak teams are picked.

The team was picked cos its been decided that this weekends match v Wolves is more important.

I don't agree with it but that seems to be an issue

I didn't see any lack of effort on the pitch and we barely had any chances.
Who was supposed to create them? Neither of our midfielders. None of the attackers.
