I don’t understand why we didn’t play our strongest team at this stage of the competition. It feels like we do it every year and make the same mistakes over and over. I guess it’s a bit easier to take this year because we’ve become so numb to it. As well as the fact that we’re pretty crap and appalling to watch.
It was 0-0 when Kane and Skipp came on. It’s just been poor from start to finish. Same old Spurs, good game then really disappointing
Kane misses a sitter and that's that. The worst thing is that we all expected it. We showed no ambition and failed to create or control the game. Stupid, boring and utterly predictbale.

Bar Sanchez, all the worst performances were from established players who will more than likely be here long term
and it feels like we’re still years away from winning another. meh. Same stuff every year. Boring and predictable. Let’s see if by some miracle we can hold onto 4th place in the league table so we can play in another competition we’ve got no chance of winning
As ever, it’s too little too late. Too little urgency on the ball, too little quality in the final 3rd, too little ambition to get something from the game until it’s too late. We’re good at neat and tidy but as soon as we have to get on the front foot and actually dominate and win a game we’re utterly clueless. Little to no aggression on and off the ball. Even with Kane and Romero adding those two qualities, we need more throughout the team if we’re ever going to make something serious happen with this squad. It doesn’t help that Richy is looking like a bust, Sonny is still absolutely dire, Lucas looks a shadow of his former self, and the midfield is shot through by injuries. With a fit and firing first XI we can trouble anyone but we’ve neither of those things at the moment, and too many players look like coasting through games too much of the time. What a ****ing mess.
