Well I did and having to catch a train left just before our 'goal' as I heard the roar near the Parks. Couldn't get a signal so only found out it was offside way later. For 5min I thought we'd drawn. Not good they weren't either. Neither was the ref. On the train, fed up and have a poor opinion of our Club. That was simply nowhere near good enough. They gave us loads of room especially in the first half and we once again demonstrated the game played sideways. Glad I'm not going Saturday.
When you are in the dire f*cking mess that we are in, I don't understand why you don't use a game like this to pick your best eleven, and get them gelling as an attacking unit. What the f*ck are we resting players for? Our Champions League campaign?
I think we just need to go down, have a massive clear out and try and enjoy football with a small squad. We didn’t need all these new players in the summer, we needed a couple of additions in attack and CDM and a manager. We now have a bloated squad with underperforming demotivated players. No leaders (bar JWP). 3 managers don’t know the best team, says it all.
Tonight is absolutely unforgivable. We took a chance and appointed him because it was slim pickings and already it looks like a huge huge mistake tbh.
I would like to say it's all about the EPL but it isn't because we are terribly **** in every game we play. Still, it's a laugh.
Just got back. Almost hilarious if it wasn’t so painful. It’s all on the players. 3 different managers yet the style and effort hasn’t changed one iota. There’s only so much you can blame the managers. Losing against a 16th place League 2 side is the players fault through and through.
Weirdly Jones was deemed as ****e after Lincoln. His 2nd game in charge. Jones had like 2/3 decent games out of the 11/12 games. Selles has had 1 out of 4. Yes I’m including Sheffield Wednesday. I’ll eat my hat if he keeps us up but I’m hoping we have a new guy in charge come next season in the championship. also, you owe me a pint
Only surprise was the fact that they got a second penalty. Played a lot better than Saints, more passion and energy.
Absolutely. Should be able to play 2 games a week. They should be using tonight to practice what they’re (supposed to be) learning on the training ground.
Well played Grimsby. Baffling to take Lavia off, while leaving Alcaraz on - he was totally anonymous.
They did deserve it and fair play. But apart from gifting them the goals and the few chances they had. They didnt even need to play well to beat the pile of **** infront of them tonight. This result should tonight should not happen even if a PL team under performs. They should have the quality and it's not even up for debate. But somehow Saints managed to even **** that theory up, I'm still trying to work out how! Inexcusable and a total joke, it's actually quite sad.
Everyone can see the mess the squad is in so why start with proven hopeless players that are considerably worse than normal hopeless starting line up? Why don’t these highly paid managers so incapable of learning lessons? Unbelievable
