Grimsby fans deserve the win and hopefully they get to enjoy playing against an actual proper PL club in the next round.

 

You really have an odd problem with Selles. Granted, it’s not been the most auspicious of starts, but he’s taken over a broken club. Not saying he’s the answer, but he needs more of a chance to change things (though I don’t think Pep would get a tune out of this lot now).

 

Not watched it. But just completely pathetic, from selection to gutless players

 

Didn’t want to stay up late for the cup draw anyway. Got an early start to put my car in the workshop tomorrow.

Oh and got to say. Genuinely very happy for the Grimsby fans. Brilliant for them.

 

I didn't go, my wife didn't go.. been season ticket holders from 50 years ago, my first game was 1958 as a kid. Believe me I 've seen some sh*t, but that takes the biscuit.

 

They were awesome.

 

I don’t have a problem with Selles, like I don’t have a problem with Jones. However he’s just as bad as Jones but he’s not deemed as bad because he presents himself well. That’s the only difference. Both are quite inept yet Jones took a ****e load of abuse yet the only comments on Selles is… he’s not good enough.

 

Shocking but not at all suprising, this squad keep finding ways of plumbing new depths, It wouldn't be unexpected to have a double digit loss before the end of this season.

 

Selles must take responsibility for picking that starting line up and not having Tall Paul and Sully in the line up
Everyone knows Armstrong and Mara are clueless and Orsic looks hopeless

I don't want to see the following in a Saints shirt ever again:

DCC, Orsic, Lyanco, Aribo, Adam Armstrong. Arrogant ****s who think they're better than they actually are. Apart from Armstrong who is just plain ****. The other four though are pure poison. Keep them away from the rest of the squad.

 

Yeah, fed up with managers trying to be clever for clevers sake. Pep attire or no.

 

I don’t think we know Selles is inept yet. And he’s had a far tougher job than Jones, because he’s taken over a totally broken squad. A squad that was broken largely by Jones (in my opinion). You may be right, granted, but it’s too soon to say that for sure.
