If it isn't clear and obvious then you don't give it, simple as that. They make there own rules up.
Saying that, our front two has been **** tonight.
Only Orsic is playing well in that front 4.

This is why I don’t have the same level of confidence as others on here, that relegation won’t be a problem.

According to BBC player rating, Lavia is not as good as AA, Orsic, Perraud and KWP. Bizarre!

    I don’t. I think it’s a harsh pen. I’ve seen a lot worse handballs not given

KWP got a cheap shot and nothing happens. But an accidental handball that actually diverted the ball to Grimsby is given

I think the ref has been poor, and looks nervous, but that was a clear and obvious hand ball

It was clear and obvious. Lyanco's arm was clearly in an unnatural position and making his body bigger.

Clear and obvious don't take 4 minutes to make a decision.

The handball rules are ridiculous these days.
It wasn’t deliberate and I really don’t think his arm was in an unnatural position or that he had spread his arms to make himself wider, but it’s still judged to be handball.
Totally ridiculous rule, whichever ever end of the pitch and whichever teams are involved.

We are going down, unless there is a PL implosion, with 3 other teams throwing several games. Not going to happen. Have we had half a dozen decent games all season?

They were checking a very close offside in the build up for most of that.

All about getting a top manager in. There's a decent team in our squad somewhere, even one capable of competing in the Prem. But our board keep f*cking around.

Nah, didn’t think the offside was tight at all. It took a daft length of time to get to the decision, but it was the right one eventually.

Not quite going to plan, but it's a game of two halves so I'm led to believe.

It was a penalty. But it wasn’t a clear and obvious error, in real-time it would have been really hard to spot. And it was unintentional. And didn’t impact the outcome. So VAR should not have been involved.

How we use VAR depends on what we want football to become.

I agree that it appeared clear and obvious, however the ref obviously didn’t see it as clear and obvious, hence the multiple replays. So where does the line get drawn? If the VAR team have told him it is a pen, it defeats the object of the on field check in the first place.

Said it before but our previous relegation side would absolutely batter this current team.

This team has zero character, backbone or ability. Zero passion or fight.

    Utterly utterly pathetic club.
