We should still win this. Must say, been v disappointed with Mara. May as well try Ballard as him or Adarma. Orsic been okay and midfield/KWP has been decent.

At first I thought it had glanced off his head but the replays showed it directly hit the arm. Mara is becoming a real Saints CF, ie useless. Only Lavia showing PL quality. My money is on a Saints own goal for 0-2.

 

Would this be the first time this referee has used VAR? Or maybe first live TV game?

I know it’s an easy way out to talk about ifs and buts, however, the outcome may have been very different if the ref had stopped the game for KWP’s pretty obvious head injury. It would have been a drop ball outside their box and the butterfly effect would have been in full flow!

I’m more annoyed about that than I am the 4 minute decision making.
