    'paying a fiver for our cup final appearance'

    Went to the '68 European Cup Final with my dad, a mad Utd fan to this day. The tickets cost £4 each just to the side of the Royal box.

    Only time I've been to Watford was a 1-1 draw, think Goater scored for City and John Ward and Graham Taylor were the managers. I took my boy that day, his first away trip and not a spare seat in our End.
    Brilliant atmosphere.

    We were playing a team that would've seen Leyton Orient away on a Tuesday night as a step up from what they're used to. ;)

    Not so funny now eh...?!!!

    I did predict this would happen if we got on a roll (posts 11 and 13) and if it hadn't been restricted to all ticket, I suspect that the London area locals may have taken it to close to 2,500 (they might still turn up)...
