Surely that should be Obi is all the food (not are) unless of course you're suggesting he's big enough to be considered in the plural, not singular?
I think there's some positives to look forwards to now. Cup run is over and the pressure is gone and the players will have the bit between their teeth now, might be a bit of a hangover from the defeat but with City at the weekend it's a free swing, no expectations, after that we can look to start generating some form and consistency - or good consistency because over the last 4/5 weeks we've been consistently ****e compared to the first half of the season. Pope and Bruno are back/nearly back from suspension and ASM, Isak, Wilson, Willock, Target all look like they are on the comeback to fitness which will give us some decent options after the Wolves game.
City (A) - 3-0 loss Wolves (H) - 2-0 win Forrest (A) - 1-0 win Man U (H) 1-1 West Ham (A) 1-0 loss 7 points is most likely. If we learn to finish, we could win every game (except City) but I cannot see that changing
Our main 2 striker both average a goal every other game, along with Gordon who's looked great so far and Almirion who's in the best scoring form of his life.
Since Jan, we have not scored more than 2 goals in a League match. The last time we scored more than 1 goal in a League game was Dec 26th. This year, we have managed to beat Fulham 1-0 at home. Every other game has been 1-1 or a 2-0 loss. With how our players have played in 2023, about 4-6 points is about what they're worth.
I prefer to think of the bigger picture, rather than just using a handful of recent performances to forecast doom and despair for months to come.
Lol I didn't use a handful of performances, I used the entire year so far. We are in March now and there's a handful of games to go. You're just getting a bit spicy in your response because I replied with facts about our season since the Christmas break and you didn't like what you read. I could have included us losing to Sheff Wed, our average performance against bottom of the table Saints and then our mauling at Wembley. But I didn't.
At least it won't be changed to Sunday for Europa League as there are no games the preceding week. If Arsenal are still fighting for league then good chance it will be a TV game which may mean a change to Sunday. If they hear you are going its a near certainty.
It's bound to be changed to the Sunday, 100%, I've never been so sure of anything in my life. I'll eat Mick's hat if they stick to the Saturday. There you go mate.
If Newcastle have a chance of top 4 and Arsenal are in a shot for the title then I’m sure that’ll be a Sunday kick off
Thinking that but could go to 12.30 or 5.30, getting worried now but the one thing that could save me is if Arsenal make the Europa semi's, scheduled for the 11th!!!
