If I were he…. Keep Leeds in the PL and your reputation grows as a coach who saves teams and keeps them up. It doesn’t attract great future job offers. Get Leeds into the final of the FA cup and be known as a coach that’s taken two less fancied teams to Wembley, win it and your job offers move up two notches
I mentioned at the weekend that we have some decisions to make around the CB players, but one I forgot about is young Monteiro who has today hinted he could be playing tonight. We know all about Wober and Koch, plus we have Cooper and Struijk plus 2 who are winning MoM performances in Hjelde and Cresswell. Young Monteiro is supposed to be the real deal? Cooper and Struijk are either still out or just available, oh and Llorente has only played a few minutes for Roma so far
I'm no Bamford fan but the game does open up after about 60 or 70 minutes as players get tired. It doesn't justify it but it could certainly affect those stats.
Put Cooper out to stud. Sell Struijk for huge profit margins. Use Hjelde to replace Struijk, Cresswell to replace Cooper. Send Monteiro out on loan next season.

Struijk and his concussion was some event as it happed over 3 weeks ago and he’s still struggling back. Koch was back for the next game when he had it. Not belittling Struijk because I think clubs do need to manage head injuries better as someone is going to drop dead on the pitch one of these days
