Met Police say that more than 8000 Newcastle United fans gathered in Trafalgar Square on the Saturday evening before the Final, calling the gathering “generally good natured”.
Nine arrests were made during the match for various public order offences

Back to your comment about 8000 fans at Trafalgar Square though, you do realise this was the DAY BEFORE the final and has absolutely nothing to do with 9 arrests being made at the final?
