I'll just be happy if players are put in their proper positions. That means Bree or KWP at RB, Sulemana on the wing, and Elyounoussi not on the pitch.
In a weird sort of way, despite the lack of passionate interest from from many Saints supporters for this game, it's a pretty big test for Ruben Selles. Jones didn't lose an FA cup game despite his other failings. What I want to see is this match being treated as though we're playing a top six club to save our PL status, ie sustained, intense effort for 90+ minutes, from the start, not half way through the match. The competition itself is not the issue tomorrow night, it's the reaction of the players and the Manager's influence over them to bring about the most telling outcome. If any of this is absent then even my level of optimism is on red. Added to this of course, we see our forwards scoring goals, there's a challenge!!
Agreed. Have a passionate performance and let's see if that can be sustained in the next league match rather than the lack-lustre passionless display v Leeds after Chelsea. Just mulling things over this morning as I was contemplating another reason not to clean out the gutters.....as happy as we seem to be with Selles, I do wonder if a Warnocky/Alladycey type appointment would have been better after Jones as, despite the apparent enthusiastic support for him by the players, I'm not convinced he has genuine support from them. Hope I'm wrong....we'll see!

It's a difficult situation, cleaning the gutters or contemplating about our team! Your point of support from players is going to be of interest over the next 2/4 games. Even the optimists, including myself, will be changing camp if those matches don't go to plan. IF that is the case then we might as well take up another interest until post-June. But I'm not there yet. Hope the gutters are clean now!!
Selles has said he is going to start a team that are easily capable of starting in the premier league... it was news to me that we had one of those

No point, we dont put balls into the box for him, even if we did I doubt he could jump high enough to win it anyway.
He was scoring in Belgium, it’s us that’s broken him, so we need to fix that and this should be an opportunity
