Man city second string

Yaya Toure has recently said he believes Man city's second string side would challenge for the top 4.. im bored and cant sleep so thought i would check out their (in my opinion) second string and get your opinion of how YOU think they would do...

I know they rotate quite a bit so i picked this second string based on number of appearences really. My knowledge of City isnt great so i might of missed some obvious player or something (like Costel Pantilimon as GK?).

I honestly believe this team would do really well in the prem, and i actually agree with Yaya that it could well push top 4.

I posted this on our page due to the fact we occupy a top 4 place at the minute so wondered what fellow geordies thought of this team compared to ours and just because we play them next..

What would yours be??

Aii i noticed that, didnt know who else to put in really who you could actually class as not first team..

 

Like i say i was going off appearences and hes got more than most of them but yea he could go in there like

 

Well I think there main 11 is:

Hart

Richards - Kompany - Lescott - Clichy

Toure - Barry

Silva - Aguero - Milner

Dzeko

So anybody who isn't there I would say would count like

So Savic, Nasri should count

 

Stupid City with their stupid amount of stupidly good but stupidly spare players

Johnson and Balotelli would do, thanks! Oh, and we'll have Milner back too!

Wow.. now thats a world beater haha, Abeid pushing Gosling as well judging by his performance against Everton..

 

Yeah I put him at first, but I thought of what Pardew would do lol.

I think it would be battling for relegation haha. But, maybe if we put Kadar in for Perch and Abeid for Gosling I think we would have a chance lol

 

Gosling played well when he came on against Everton - leave the stick for him. He played well, and will only get better

 

Agree with this. He was up against Jack Rodwell who is very much a fantastic player. He did very well against him and needs more match practice. Overall I think he had a great game in goal

 

That team would probably end in the top 6.. although obviously you'll have to rely on Hargreaves' not getting injured throught the whole season.

IMO there second team would look like this..

Pantiloman(6ft 8'' 2nd choice goalie)

De Jong Haregreaves
Johnson Tevez Nasri
Balotelli

It's like an Oil Tycoon going up to a tramp and comparing suits, then saying "Even my other suit is better than the one you're wearing".

Why does Lescott get a game over Koule Toure? Toure is a much better defender than Lescott IMO.

 

Because Toure is past it and Lescott is the most underrated Man City player. He has been quality this season so far.

 

Kolo is extremely out of favour at the minute.

 

Because drugs are bad... Even ladies diet pills.

 

It's crazy how Kolo gets like a £700k and Titus' is only, what, 60k?
