They said right from the off that they wanted the club to be self sustaining. They've never veered from that position. So it shouldn't be a surprise now.

You're saying that like it's a bad thing

when the promised to invest then it is a bad thing.

fsg could have simply paid 50mil for Kirkby and never burdened the club.

they could have paid 120mil for main stand and never burdened club

they could have done the game for anfield road end.

that's 250mil minimum that they've in effect taken away from transfers as nine count to ffp and owners could have increased club value by that investment while really pushing the club on since the cl win

they have used up all of klopp and more. the man looks tired at this point and sounds worse. they hlthought they could majoc more money from no investment while the club bought its own increase in value.

they are if anything only marginally better than glaziers.

Truthfully, we don't know how much of this is FSG saying they won't spend and how much of it is Klopp saying "I don't want anyone available that meets the 'moneyball' criteria".

This is the first season since FSG took over that we've taken a massive step back. Fiscally, we're a much better club than we were when they took over.

I say wait until summer before we brand FSG the bad guys. If they don't react after what we've seen this season then, yeah, they're bad guys. If they say "oops we ****ed up and need to invest in new players" then I feel like they can be forgiven.

There are two alternatives to being fiscally well run like we have been.

One is being run by a sugar daddy and the other is obscurity.

Most just wanted the club to be left to run itself after H&G, that's exactly what FSG have done.

Short memories...

In fact you have had money to spend and spent it all on 3 Mane replacements (strikers/attackers) with no thought as to who will feed them (midfielders).
Was this FSG or Klopp's choice?

Our midfielders haven’t fed the forwards in the 7 years klopps been here. That’s TAA and Robbos job.

Not true. We had our targets but they opted to go elsewhere.
