FML, someone I know who hasn’t been to a football game shared this on Facebook Whether you’re a football fan or not, it’s inspiring to see the whole of Tyneside get behind Newcastle United. HWTL #ourwhitleybay #NUFC I obviously pointed out that for one why should non football fans be inspired by getting to Wembley, my missus certainly didn’t get too arsed when we did and secondly the whole of Tyneside were not getting behind Newcastle. Apparently there was “absolutely no need” for me to post it and I said there was because it’s an untruth The next post agreed with the originator and, get this said “ Totally agree with you, the whole of the north east should be proud. Tiny steps and we will make it.” **** me their delusion knows no bounds. Now it’s went from Tyneside to the whole of the north east should be proud. Proud of what exactly? They really think the world revolves around them.
I was also told, wait for it, South Tyneside isn’t all Sunderland (I never claimed they were) and as a matter of fact “there aren’t many Sunderland fans in South Tyneside.” They are absolutely clueless mind
They really are self absorbed. Most supporters have something of that in them of course, but , in this at least, they are clear winners. Solipsists to use a posh word, and one my old Englush teacher would have used. Solipsists the lot of them.
I've no idea what anyone should be proud about tbh. There was no courage, either from the manager or the players, and the Mags were just a standard Wembley final crowd ... ... we played a vastly superior Man City but at least we went for them and scored a cracking goal for us to cheer. Newcastle will look back and think that was a wasted opportunity imo.

Aye, my best mates a mackem and he told me about this thread, so had to see it for myself. Didn't realise you'd clocked up 385 pages of commenting on the club up the road that you hate and don't class as rivals anymore....i think that's was this is all about? He wasn't very clear and there's no way i'm reading all of this.
