Yes Firpo has improved lately but it was a very low starting point. Even if he carries on improving it’ll be some time before the €12m price tag is justified. Still nowhere near as good as Alioski was in that position and he wasn’t even a proper left back.
If tomorrow’s game ends in a draw after 90 minutes is there extra time and penalties? Or just extra time? Or straight to penalties? Or a replay and no extra time? Useful to know as I’ll be there. Cheers.
It's all red noses' fault when he was in charge of scum refusing to attend any public media press conference. Although he was more than happy to attend press conferences on Scum TV, where they never asked him difficult questions and scum fans paid for the privilege of being told nothing
Last time i went in there for hudders game with you i got pushed over the seat in front.. Now that did hurt the day after.
It wasn't pretty and still lots to work on but we won and overall deserved it. Southampton played not to lose the game with plenty of men behind the ball. very scrappy goal but we deserve one of them to go our way. Thought it was Firpo's best game but one game doesn't make you a player. but credit due where credit's due and that was better from him. Koch was my man of the match though put everything into that Satda. winning breeds confidence and now we have that win on the card hopefully the players will calm down and play their football. Still a long way to go and I'm sure there will be be plenty more ups and downs but it's nice to be on that up for a change. Bring on London now MOT!
I ended up about 5 rows down in the South stand when Beckford scored the winner to get us up against Bristol Rovers.
I was at the KOP end that day when there was a bit more atmosphere there then. You cant beat the Southstand.It keeps me young.
