Why wouldn't it wind someone up?......these clown world days are nothing more than people being offended over the most trivial of matters which has resulted in cancel culture invading every aspect of life today........so you might as well join the club eh, let's face it people these days believe a bloke in a wig and lipstick can be a woman so perhaps this act at the cenotaph could offend people.... that's their choice surely

they miss the point mate the Cenotaph is not for praying but paying respect in floral offerings with only one or two members from overseas minorities who helped attended by official request, the correct place for devout pray is those officially designated.

You can stop now, I bought a few extra buckets of popcorn when this started but they are all finished now.

I never reply to Todger but it’s been amusing seeing him produce one irrelevant argument after another. I didn’t realise Roger Irrelevant was a real person, I thought he was a Viz cartoon character.

To many of the relatives of dead soldiers it is as symbolic as any church. Now that's not a fact, but more of a presumption on my part. <ok>

I may have mentioned this before, but years ago someone from the asian community complained that a white woman had porcelain pigs in her kitchen window and I think the council asked her to remove them because the sight of them offended the muslim population. So I know exactly where you are coming from.<ok>

I agree, and maybe this guy is a relative of one of the dead soldiers. The guy who took the video (and certain people on here) immediately assumed he was doing it to cause offence. Maybe he was, but we don't know. Perhaps the guy who took the video should have asked him and found out, and if he was it would have been a far more damning video, one which I may well have taken offence to myself.

cenotaph is a place for leaving floral remembrance of fallen soldiers not a place for pray for that you need go to a mosque or church like the ones allocated, pretty simple really praying ay a cenotaph instead of the designated mosque is a wind up perpetrated by a **** as thick as you

Yet again, you fail to grasp the most simple of concepts Roger. I didn't say anything about whether it was appropriate or not to pray at the cenotaph, although I'm pretty sure christians have prayed there. I merely corrected you by pointing out that the cenotaph is a memorial to British AND commonwealth soldiers. You really do like digging a hole for yourself don't you ?

and what evidence do you have for that other than it fits your narrative maybe this guy is just there for a wind up as it was meant to be by him it's not a place for worship its a place for remembrance you want to pray go to the designated mosque
