This has to be my favourite example of spoonerisms. This man was a comedic genius.

Afternoon all, well another dreary day in the West Country. It felt good donating clothes to the charity shop and now I am waiting for the Neighbourhood Watch Rep from the local Constabularly to discuss me starting up a scheme on my road<yikes> It sounded like a good idea when I thought of it!

The Ronnie Barker makes me laugh...mostly malapropisms rather than spooerisms though...

Mrs Malaprop, a very funny character in Sheridan's play 'The Rivals', came u with gems like:

"...she's as headstrong as an allegory on the banks of Nile."

Jasper was brilliant in his heyday!

might be a chance of Norwayhornet becoming Canuckhornet , chances of a transfer seem on , the hard part is to sell the idea to her:(

I never got any warnings either - my AV (Kaspersky) simply refused to load the site!

Please BCFC Red, your always welcome, but we currently have a seriously ill owner who might die tomorrow and leave us in a real mess. A few less smileys at this time would be respectful.

No Dan, I haven't been so incensed for ages. Even when Mme gets at my credit card it doesn't get me so up tight.

I've just read the thread back, i can't get a link yet to listen to the forum but it sounds like SD spoke a lot of sense, nobody trusts Bas (no surprise there) and Mapps is bringing an album out. Oh, and the pitch has a slope...okay, so...anything i missed?

M Frenchie, it's so very frustrating..i think your email is fab, and i'll say so on the thread :)

Let us just say that we have a chicken as an owner and he is not crowing too much. :(
