As I said earlier, he has the yellow out before Emerson barges in. Who was he going to give that to?

We apologise for the service interruption but...

DH's AwayDays are back yet again! Now you could say it's like waiting for a bus but here we are with Season 5 Episode 4, ladies and gents! This week, DH takes another short trip but this time over to West London to see our friends at The Shi... sorry, The Shed End.

    PRE MATCH

Can we please just call it a 0:0 and fast forward to the post match press conference?
    No.

Honestly the most predictable 0-0 you could ever bet on.
    Mmm not that predictable.

I reckon we are close to dishing out a thrashing to someone pretty soon. Starting with that shower of sh*t from north London next week.
    Better luck next time...

Knowing Conte, he'll go super extra defensive.
Ohhh my friend but you see, you're not facing Conte's Spurs, you're facing Stellini's!

Hopefully somebody yanks Romero to the ground by his hair and we get away with it.
If someone ever does this, we'll see the Premier League's first ever on-pitch murder.

Genuine question…….would we take a three nil defeat on Sunday if it meant Potter was bulleted on Monday morning ? I absolutely in all seriousness would take that.
Would a 2-0 defeat do by any chance?

I’m hoping for the 3 points on Sunday a nice 2-0 win.
You know what, so am I.

Beat Spurs and win our game in hand on them, and we'll only be 5 points behind them.
Or lose to Spurs and be 14 points behind.

Bit of Battle Of The Bridge spirit required.
Romero has that even if we were playing a charity friendly.

I don't mean to sound harsh or negative, but this team is f**king w**k.
£600m spent and you have these views, love it.

    FIRST HALF

First 5 mins were on top.
We just wanna build your hopes up.

This ref ain’t giving us anything today.
Shock, a ref that lets the game flow for once, as many more should.

I would say kk is an accident waiting to happen but as he has just taken silva out of the game that accident has happened
KK is Koulibaly for those wondering, almost an ironic abbreviation though for a fanbase that's essentially a KKK offspring.

    So dirty they are.
    And you lot are angels.

    F**k off Romero, w**ker.
Obligatory "I hate Romero" post from the opposition, well done, Cuti.

Enzo looks like he is about to make a big mistake.
He made that the day he joined you lot.

    SECOND HALF

    Game. Done
    SKIPPYYY!

    Great job Fernandez.
Ahhh, so that was the big mistake you were on about. Great assist to be fair.

Stealing ball from keeper - and then keeper having his usual weak wrists.
    ArrizabaLOLga.

Must have been one of Potter's best HT talks.
    <laugh>

We are in a relegation fight now.
Oh for that to be true.

Havertz is genuinely one of the worst players I've ever seen play for us.
Cost about £20m more than Richarlison :emoticon-0136-giggl

That's it then. From a corner?
    Witness Gianni Vio's brilliance.

Sterling marking Kane? We are an absolute shambles.
The thinking may have been that as Sterling's prevented Kane from scoring for England a fair bit, he could've done the same today...

Quite hilarious that Harry Kane of all people is unmarked at a set piece.
Hopefully more teams follow suit tbh.

How bad can this get ffs.
    Ideally a lot more...

    POST MATCH

    A dark day
"A sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!"

I think Mount needs a spell with whichever psychologist Sancho went to see.
    I wouldn't bother, Sancho's still ****.

This is just getting seriously depressing.
    Inject it into my veins.

Losing today is a kick in the sweeneys on top of many kicks.
    *Chef's kiss*

As bad as Potter is, pretending all our players are really good and only victims of the coach is rubbish. Havertz for one should try a different sport. Fly fishing looks more of his kind of thing.
    <laugh> Fly fishing.

I would even be open to giving Poch a similar contract.
He's already told you to do one.

Don't forget that today, Potter was beaten by Conte's assistant
He has a name and it's CRISTIAN STELLINI!

A like from me, but also a notional double like for managing to quote King Theoden in a football commentary.

Watched the highlights this morning, Ziyech was getting a yellow for the initial foul , then gets a straight red for the slap ,changed to yellow , should he have the second yellow instead of the straight red and still gone ? I think that was the order but I didn't have the assistance of a team watching in a darkened room miles away

After yesterday's result, Tony Cascarino says that Oliver Skipp is good enough to play for a top four club

Has he actually looked at the league table at any point in the past ten years?

Okay, I promise that I won't make this a "Let's Dunk On What We Think Conte's Tactics Are" session, but it does have to be said that there is one noticeable difference in our passing patterns here compared to the last 2-3 months of maps: the ball is being moved through the middle towards the frontline, something which we have seen so rarely post-restart (or, to put it another way, something only Bentancur seems to be allowed to do) but here you see both Skippy & Hojbjerg getting the ball to H...although I can't say if Hojbjerg is getting the ball to Richy based on their relative placing

The other obvious difference, which is hard to miss, is Forster is regularly finding the back three, especially Lenglet - seriously, that thick line from Forster to Lenglet would not exist with Hugo in goal, and we likely haven't seen a line remotely close to that since Gazzaniga had a run of games, which isn't tactical and more that Hugo's distribution has never been that reliable

Now, I know what you're thinking, and our map looks lopsided - but here's the thing, when you look at Chelsea's map it actually makes more sense

Okay, first of all...wow, that is hideous to look at, but it also explains our apparent lopsided map: their passing and movement down their right flank was basically a choice of Loftus Cheek & James or James & Ziyech passing it between one another, opening up that flank to recycle the ball between the Dier/Lenglet/Hojbjerg triangle, something our right flank couldn't do because Chelsea's left flank was far better at retaining and recycling possession which is why we were more direct on that flank, which also means that all we had to do was keep Sterling quiet, which Romero and Emerson did

Sorry to keep going on about it, and I admit it's probably all been said. But I didn't get a chance to finish watching MOTD2 yesterday which I now have. Even in commentary the yellow card coming out for the initial foul was mentioned. Then in the analysis they said on more than one occasion (well Cahill did anyway) that the right decision was reached in the end. Also that the red card was downgraded to yellow. NO, that's not what happened. The red became a yellow but the first yellow was downgraded to nothing! IT WAS TWO YELLOWS can't anyone count????? Did the ref forget he was about to book him, did VAR forget? I'm not claiming dodgyness here, simply incompetence.

How did Chelsea avoid a red card? No idea.

Both were red card offences - even allowing for Emerson's stupid barge.
Also strange that the ref was pointed back to the monitor to review his initial decision with Ziyech, but not to review the very obvious elbow on Romero.

Officials get decisions wrong, I get that. But it's the inconsistency that causes most concern.

Impressive that you could hear a couple of rounds of it from the red side of Stanley Park, frankly...

He wasn't even there and also claims it wasn't a sellout, which it definitely was.
Atmosphere was fine, especially for an early Sunday game.

I had a tone-deaf Korean dad singing his head off next to me, embarrassing his two sons.
Went a bit nuts when Son was warming up, but they embraced the whole game, too.
Far better than the lost Geordie I met on the tube that ignored my directions. Pillock.
