Very hard to get that enthusiasm and drive back especially if 1) Livpl don't finish top 4, and 2) He doesn't get the players/positions he needs.

Btw I don't think there's anyone who's as good or better available out there (Tuchel maybe?) and certainly none that wouldn't be any better at having to overcome the same problems above. But he does look hopeless atm.

In our defence we've travelled quite far, the Man Utd fans wont have to leave home until after 3pm today.

I assume a lot of Man Utd fans live outside of Manchester and either live closer to London or know where to stay and not get ripped off. I said earlier in the thread, I don't really see the attraction of Wembley, bit of pain in the arse place from my memory of it. Afterall Manchester United are use to travelling the world in competitions, whereas for Newcastle it's a once in a lifetime chance, that you can pass on as memories to your grandkids later in life.

I expect Spurs to win and then Potter to resign after receiving more abuse.

Does it remind you of when Gillingham beat Hartlepool in the great battle of 1987?

    Tuchel is no Klopp.

They'd be mad to let him go

But he'd be mad to continue allowing Pool to shove one up his arse every transfer window.

We've played yourselves in the League Cup twice, both times you narrowly scraped a one goal margin win, you might find the opposition today a little tougher. I think if United scrape a 1-0 win, then by all accounts the Toon would have done well, sort of fallen heroes status. Alternatively you could completely collapse and become a laughing stock and Munse goes into hiding for the rest of the season.

    Both possible.

We are playing them at the worse time, in the league I think we have been poor. We pass it nice and can keep posession, but we just do not score goals. From set pieces we are easily the worst in the league, we can have about 15 corners and not a single one will produce a shot on target, let alone a goal.

I saw Darren Eales (the CEO of the club) with a mic in hand today hyping up the fans, this is only the beginning and stuff.

My question to Darren Eales, Dan Ashworth and others, would be why we sold Wood, who added a different dynamic to our game (a strong target man) and signed as a replacement a player that seemingly, Eddie Howe does not want, as he never, ever plays him. Who is in charge of transfers and why was that decision made? If Howe asked for him, drag his ass into an office and ask why he doesn't play him.

I have no problem with the Gordon transfer on paper, I think if we played him we would see his talent. But that's the issue, against Liverpool we went for the 19 year old, played 2 games in the Prem from the bench, Anderson in the starting 11. What a boneidle, moronic decision from a coach and that's not even hindsight, I was shocked when I saw it before. It was a disaster and he was hooked as soon as Pope got his card.

As soon as Gordon came on second half, the game was all Newcastle, but it was the 68th minute, 10 men, and 2-0 down. Way too late.

If Man Utd score 1 early, we have lost today. We have the slowest reacting manager I have seen.

    From the bbc after 25mins
    "Countless fouls from both teams"

Also from bbd after 25 mins
"Spurs 2 fouls Chelsea 3 fouls"

    A foul every 5 mins = countless <laugh>
