After a week or more of e mail tennis, the "issue" with sending out the three best backed horses appears to have been resolved. Warwick 1400 Cafe Pushkin Lingfield 1420 Noisy Night Warwick 1715 Rogue Queen.
0-3 Cack. Not quite the re-start I was hoping for. I will give it a week and then decide continue or give up on it. Very strange though that the "system" should throw a doo dah fit after such profits. Though smarkets being an exchange wins either way, someone has backed the horse, someone has laid it. Commission whatever the outcome.
1.50 Kempton – Nusret – generally 3/1 & Spartan Army (e/w) – generally 25/1 It could be a case of the Irish showing the home brigade the way home again and an improved effort on his recent couple of runs can be expected from Nusret now he races on a better surface. He was pretty impressive on his hurdles debut in a race that’s worked out pretty well. Beaten a fay way in his last two starts both were on soft ground and behind the two market leaders for the Triumph Hurdle. A few form lines suggest he has the beating for the Fav, especially in receipt of 5lbs. Spartan Army is a notebook horse from Chepstow where he looked all at sea on the soft ground. A fair effort last time behind a potentially well handicapped winner. On ratings he has a bit to find, but he’ll prove himself better than his rating and can outrun his odds here, so is also advised each way. 4.03 Newcastle – Easy As That – generally 6/4 One of our Ten To Follow horses, he came good last time on what was only his 2nd start over fences. He certainly treats the larger obstacles with more respect than he did hurdles and having travelled well throughout the race at Haydock, he pulled clear to win with a good deal in hand. Raised 7lbs for that win, he can follow up and is one to follow over fences. 4.10 Kempton – Ivaldi (e/w) – generally 4/1 Top 4 Places, SkyBet, Paddy Power, Betfair, Corals, Unibet, Betfred A notebook horse from just last weekend; it’s a surprise to see him out so quickly but connections suggest he needs to learn how to settle and more experience would do him good. He seemed far more settled last time and was given a pretty lenient ride by Harry Cobden. With further improvement to come, he looks to be on a very attractive handicap mark and can play a leading role here. 4.10 Kempton – Will Carver (e/w) – generally 6/1 Top 4 Places, SkyBet, Paddy Power, Betfair, Corals, Unibet, Betfred Returning from a fair break, but reports suggest he’s done plenty of work and he looked an extremely promising sort before a slight setback. Interesting connections have entered him in a couple of Cheltenham handicaps and you’d expect he’d need to win or go close to have any chance of getting into those based on his current rating. He’s unexposed and could well prove himself better than his rating, even after such a long time off the track. 16.17 Chepstow , Wind Tor 1 point e/w @ 12/1 @ SKYBET , BETFAIR ,BETF365 1/5 @ 1234 places

Where's Hector seemed to finish his race from another county last time out, by my rough estimation he was around 40 lengths off the pace with only two to jump but came with a rattling run to nearly snatch 2nd place, that 2nd placed runner had previously won his last 3 races on the bounce, whilst the winner is an improver who had also won his previous start over fences easily. The selection steps up in trip, which judging by his finishing effort on a sharp left handed track over 19.5f looks ideal now and the handicapper has dropped him a 1lb to 103 for that fine effort for what was his chasing debut in handicap company whilst he obviously looks well enough handicapped on his hurdles form, was once 2nd to a now easy winner off 125 over fences on its latest start. Canny trainer is just sending the one runner up to Ayr and he makes some each way appeal in this company. 20:30 Wolverhampton, Johnny bloom 1pt win @ 2.75 with 11 bookies. Continues to climb up the handicap but with good reason as his performance figures have continued to improve, and arguably more so than how his handicap mark has been raised of late. Arguably better on this track then elsewhere and his first attempt over this CD, two outings back was won in a manner that implied his revised mark is still workable here. 15:00 Plumpton, Blame The Game 1pt win @ 3.25 most bookies 17:30 Wolverhampton, Dream Harder 1pt win @ 4.00 several bookies
