1. Alfie Jones 2. Sean McLoughlin 3. Jacob Greaves I felt for Greaves barely had any help or cover from Ebiowei.
McLoughlin Greaves Jones some brave defending today Injuries not helping but …. Another game with no goals Starting XI is never seems to be our strongest Nothing wrong with playing from the back but passing back constantly from midfield offers no threat Our first half approach play is abysmal lately (despite saying we need to score first)
Thought our 2 centre backs were the pick of our players. 1. Mcloughlin - worked hard to keep them out .Some great tackles and blocks 2. Jones - same as Sean 3. Greaves- tried to get up his side in attack and battled in defence . Thought Longman tried to create chances when he came on . The penalty is one if those that if you are attacking you want a penalty . So sadly the referee was probably correct . To many poor passes and losing out in the 50 / 50 challenges from the Midfield. Just move on to Friday. Come on City .
Can't fault your votes or assessment. Didn't realise we were playing West Brom on Friday night! And it's live on Sky - oh no......
Jones McLoughlin After that....bit of a stretch , prob longman. Feel sorry for our CBS, get given the ball a lot with not much movement in front of them and we don't half have to defend a lot ATM too. Both played v well today
McLoughlin Slater, don't why he was subbed? Docherty put a shift in but sadly lost the ball too much in midfield. Unlucky with his shot in the second half. Mid table securtity is nothing to be sniffed at, and that should be our aim.
Jones and Mclaughlin.. thats it, midfield was dire, forwards as bad. Oscar really is going through a crisis of confidence at present and needs a break from it, he was shocking yesterday. Ebiowe .. hmmm .. not really sure what the deal is with this lad, but he needs to learn the ethos of being part of a team, and work back to help your fb out. Not seen enough of him yet to bin him off, but so far not very good.
