I feel sorry for Selles because he truly seems to have a passion for the club. After the honeymoon period of the underdog care-taker rising to the challenge wears off, the fans are going to start getting frustrated again and start turning on him. Happened to Jones after that one week of good results, then 2 weeks later he was the definition of Satan.
It's been a pleasure, PL. But our time is up. Genuinely look forward to a different set of fixtures next season and get rid of most of this ****e (hopefully).
I’ve been trying to say that I didn’t think we were down because there too many points to play for and we were only 4 points down but if this stays as a loss then I think that’s it for us. If you put in a turgid performance like this against fellow relegation candidates you deserve to go down. We don’t remotely look like scoring outside of a JWP free kick. It’s been so hard to watch this game. Absolute ****.
