nope. Only a fool would discount real based on first half of season. they always come strong for the real football in knockouts and run in. Barca will need to watch thier backs for the run in now. Also do you even realise benzema is only back
But the only player they missed last night was Pedri? Most of the players you state are the nucleus played in both legs. Gavi and De Jong alternate so him not being there made little difference, and De Jong was easily their best player. The bloke is absolute class but surrounded by average players. Also please look at their performance and results in the CL group stages with those players you mentioned. They were bang average, only managing wins against the mighty Vktoria Plzen. I'll also add Xavi is ok, but I don't think he has the making of a manager who will have Barca successful beyond their domestic league.
oh look. manc who is convinced de Jong is joining them is clearly better than gavi. as I said there's a core of really good young players there. I actually said look at the bang average players like christensen
I never said he's better, I think they're both good, but Gavi was no loss last night bcos De Jong was excellent. We'll see how this core get on, I rate 2 or 3 that's it. But even if I'm wrong about this core they will still need more players defensively, in midfield and up front, and the original point was they'll need money which they don't have to get them.
kounde is good dest is good pedri is excellent gavi is excellent fati was going to be good. there's a few more that will come on as well. the mad signings are actually in the way. **** like busquets who cannot run, christensen (just why) alonso lol
Mason Greenwood partner pregnant. Not suggesting there is any coincidence that the case was dropped so he isn’t charged and therefore free to continue to earn a decent wage for his girlfriend and unborn child…
Christiansen & Alonso were free transfers thats why . I'm convinced part of Barcas plan is to get players on frees from England then flog them back in about 1-2 years as a way of improving the financial position .
He fitted right in with bitters. He has had huge spend over some seasons so was expected to deliver and frankly city look like city in the leicester season. As crazy as it seems pep seems to have lost focus. Awful show from him midweek again.
They got the one big result, Then lose to us then get the 6pointer win, then look like losing again. Classic inconsistency
Everton are looking more and more like they will go down, back in the relegation zone tonight. If Bournemouth win, unlikely I know, then Everton will be second from bottom. Their next two games are Forest away then Brentford at home, both tricky games when you have no one in the team who can score goals and a leaky defence!
if Everton can win every second game they will be OK. villa not in the 30s on points so palace are the last side "in danger" West ham had a huge win too
