Cant say i ever rated the lad and often thought i was watching a different player to others when i was told he was world class by several fans. I was over the moon when we got £18 million for him as he isnt worth half that. It seems he has been found out at Liverpool which is unfortunate for the lad as fans of top clubs arent as forgiving as the likes of us.
A huge price tag brings with it huge expectations from the fans , and puts huge pressure on the player. I never thought he was worth the money , but Dalglish does.
