    I am hoping this new guy is a step up on Bielsa. Really hope he keeps us up and stays. I want to see a prem size squad of senior players unlike Bielsas small squad and a few kids. How he thought that would work baffled me. I want a coach who can see the game in front of him and react. No more square pegs and two players for each position. Rads needs to be gone as he tried to sell cresswell when we should be keeping him and his like.

    Javi isn't a long term solution here.

    It's typical isn't it fa looking into incident and other clubs get away with it but not Leeds just shows you fa got it in for us , trying to make it hard for us , while man utd and others get away with it

    Well like any new coach we'll have to wait and see.

    If it works out he'll be here next season don't you think ?

    Who knows. He seems like a nice guy. A few takeaways from presser. Too little time to change much. Thinks the team do a lot right, all they need is a result. Seems like a smart guy, been in football a long time.. recognises sometimes you just need to catch a break.

    The interesting point was about us conceding too many. In 2023, under marsch certainly, we tightened up a lot at the back. Apart from the obligatory aspect of sides scoring almost with every chance… and us usually gifting them those chances… we havent actually given many chances away at all.

    Whichever, sounds like we may be a bit more conservative.

    Yeah, it just looks like he doesn't hang around at clubs for very long and we don't keep coaches for very long. Wasn't a slight on Javi.

    Reading between the lines, I'd say he's here until the summer and IF we stay up he will be replaced by Iraola. Seems a short term deal to me.

    Liked his press conference (admittedly I was won over once he kept talking about the SQUAD). Talked about different formations, 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 5-3-2 depending on how comfortable the players available feel with said formation. Seems like a coach that will react as he sees a game unfolding. Seems calm and confident. Thought he handled a few dodgy questions, trying to trip him up, on exactly when he started working with the players very well.

    We rarely score goals at all tbh, but the table says your defence is every bit as ****ing useless as ours tends to be. And since;
    a) we miraculously kept a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge last weekend, and;
    b) we’ve got Selles…who?…Ruben Selles,
    I’m hopeful we might just nick this.

    I see Shako has worked his magic at headingley tonight as the Rhinos lost to a late try to leave them winless this year.

    If we lose tomorrow, we, as a forum, must come together as one and blame Shako for everything bad that has happened this season.
