Of course, there is no haulage costs or time consuming journeys for the lorry drivers or the haulage companies.
There are lots of things to blame. But it's common sense that, if there are shortages, the UK will be at the bottom of the list for Europe. Unless British farmers are helped this is just the start of the problems.
That's true but it's not been a problem before, things have changed. If we have no goods to send back to Europe that doubles the cost of the trip and we've lost automatic trading partners. And the paperwork delays don't help, especially if goods are fresh. Brexit simply hasn't made things any easier. It's all very well saying we can now trade with the rest of the world ... ... sadly the rest of the world is a lot further away.
I definitely think we will survive without aubergine, peppers and those horrible Dutch tomatoes. Just eat local
No, it's great being able to prove someone wrong repeatedly with the added bonus that they've denied themselves the right to reply.
And there were no problems trading with the rest of the world anyway. The only thing "Brexit" has done is make it more difficult to trade with the countries who we trade most with, and who are closest to us geographically. I will give Bonko and his cronies credit that they managed to convince just over half of the electorate that these blindingly obvious problems were not a problem.
In reality you haven't actually done that. Simply saying you have doesn't make it true ... ... that's the kind of thing Boris Johnson used to do.
DH4 never once said anything about what was the primary reason, he just made a daft joke ... ... so you haven't proved him wrong once, let alone repeatedly. As I said, reality isn't always what you'd prefer it to be.
The reality is it's a bad harvest in Spain and Morocco, and that we were always at the end of the supply line whether in or out of the EU. The weather and geography doesn't give a **** about which rosette colour we blindly vote for.
Yes, I've already said there are various reasons. You didn't prove anyone wrong which, sadly, seems to be what you live for.
I havent bought fruit and veg from a supermarket for years. Same for meat. Have a brilliant grocer and butcher. Love these people and they look after me. Not as much price difference either.
I would just give up mate. No interest whatsoever in any reality that might mean the tories arent the cause of problems and labour arent the answer.
