Honestly, despite wanting both teams to lose, I think I'm less bothered by you lot progressing than Barca. Anything that helps Barca's financial fudge to fail isn't a bad thing, and no more European revenue this season....
They're a poor side as well which doesn't bode well if they're under scrutiny with spending, as I don't see how they're going to afford the players they need or want. I think they're in decline and will be in the wilderness like the late 90's early 00's soon enough. Lewandowski over both legs was mediocre. That sums up their recruitment atm.
Despite having them 3 they still outspent every club on the planet during Pep's reign. So it won't be enough.
Indeed. My maxim normally is 'anyone but United', but I ****ing hate Barca with every sinew of my being, and despite everything else, I do actually have some (bastard) United friends, family, and workmates. Given the stark choice - well, let's hope United get knocked out soon, but seeing Barca suffer is sound. Just a pity they're doing quite well domestically. Arseholes.
I think treble was very unkind. they are called pedri and Gavi. there is never going to be just another messi but there is fati (but he is always injured) Barca didn't have either of the above but took lead 3? times in the overall tie Kounde, Gavi, pedri, fati, balde, araujo, dest are a nucleaus of a new very strong new side being formed. The fact is they did look a bit easy to push away form goal at times in the first leg but the speed of passing etc was there to see. thats why utd's first leg perofrmance was more impressive. they stuck in unde rthat pressure and were still effective. The second leg? Have people seen the team barca put out? it wouldn't frighten even us ffs. Ter stegen Kounde Aruajo Christensen Balde (christensen lol) De jong Buquests kessie (**** midfield this) Raphinha lewandowski Roberto (not great is it? old man time and two fairly average options) Like... That line up isn't the best is it?
