Anyone know what the rules say about their new manager bounce? Will it start on Sat since technically they hired someone already? Or do they actually have to have him in the stadium etc? It’s quite confusing; we need clarification on this. Also since we are having our new manager bounce now too, do they cancel each other out?
Feels like a massive one this. Play like we did on Saturday and we should be ok. Fingers, toes everything crossed. If we win this we can start to believe. Feel a bit sick already
Rules state not until 'officially' says he has taken over. If you remember NJ used that v Liverpool as "With respect, I only have had 2 days to look at the team, and I now realise I should have married a Welsh woman in the valleys and stayed as a PE teacher in a Primary School' It is useful as the new manager gets a free hit, and can then say "We have a lot of work to be done, once I stamp my identity on this team we'll be ok. More aggressive and on the front foot. As long as the opposition do not go down to 10 men"
Maybe they need a caretaker. Someone who has a surname somewhere between Joner and Jonet would fit the bill
The vibe around rhe playing staff looks soo positive from the outside. Reckon we got this on Saturday!
Er....hang on. You were all for keeping AMN in at the expense of KWP because he played well at Chelsea. Shouldn't you be saying the same about Bednarek?
One more than the opposition will do but, in order to alleviate undue stress and strain on these old bones, a comprehensive victory would be appreciated.
Tall Paul Sulemana Alcaraz Stu Lavia JWP Perraud Salisu ABK Kwp Baz would play this, personally ^. 4-2-3-1. Though I would understand if Bednarek kept his place after his last performance. I’d be putting KWP straight back in though. AMN was good but KWP is one of our best players.
Chris Sutton has been consistent - he has us down to lose, but he thinks we'll score. His prediction is 2-1 to Leeds. However, he has been almost complimentary about us: "What a win and what a performance we saw from Saints under Selles against Chelsea last weekend, but it doesn't make calling this one any easier." and "Yet again, I'm going with Leeds to win - but I'm not convinced that will happen." He hasn't yet claimed that Saints will win, but he accepts that we might not lose. I'm going for 2-0 to Saints, both from Sulemana.
I'm saving the sick until the end of the leicester game. If we can come out the other end of that one with at least a win we are still in the mix. Get nothing and she's likely all over rover.
