Real. Though Atleti are more than welcome to join the race, the more interest the less we'll lose on what we paid.
The person behind this account has got be either a massive weapon or an Arsenal fan pulling off some great wumming: Selling the two players that I’m surprised haven’t broken their backs over the last 4 or so years from carrying this football club. Yes, questions over Son’s form are legit and there’s even a worry he’s reached his point of decline but ****ing hell, selling Kane would represent ambition? Utter ****ing weapon. Genuine ambition would be signing those two to play alongside and compete with Kane and Son.
I lean towards the former, as I could only rip a section of that blog of theirs to shreds (you know, the one Billy the Spur shared on here like a dozen times...?) because there was only so much stupid I could read before my head hurt, plus whenever they show up in my Twitetr feed I tend to post it here with a quick comment which translates as "This is why this bellend doesn't have a ****ing clue" It was especially obvious when they posted this a few weeks ago, which I ripped into on here Long story short, somebody else on the Harry ****espout grift - somehow missing the fact that SpursWeb are always going to make more money out of it than they are
Gary Jacob says we’re looking at Marcus Thurman as a possible long term Son replacement. He’ll be available for free in the summer as he isn’t renewing his deal at Gladbach. Decent player but I don’t think I’d consider him a valid Son replacement. More a Danjuma replacement assuming we don’t take up the buy option.
Thuram's been linked with us for a good 2-3 years at this point That being said, the fact that pacey French players who can play either on the wing or up front have habitually been linked with us this season (see also: Martin Terrier, Randal Kolo Muani) which does indicate that is a role Paratici has been looking for, apparently because nobody told him about the last time we habitually looked at signing pacey wide players with Ligue 1 backgrounds...
Ligue 1 signings in general can get in the bin. Cursed league for us, it’s as if Hugo took all of the goodness from it when we signed him, because after that it’s been pretty hellish!
The issue with Ligue 1 is that there's very little value there, because once a player hits a run of form the club immediately looks at Ligue 1's FFP rules and negotiation goes out the window
Would be a bit odd, considering we subbed him on against the Spam. He gave his shirt to a young fan afterwards and seemed to appreciate the crowd support, though. Maybe that was supposed to be some sort of send off?
No idea to be honest, could’ve been. I found it strange he got on over Danjuma but then I’ve found loads of things strange this season, to the point where maybe it’s no longer strange.
Absolutely not. We need him for the CL semi final. It's when he emerges from his cave like Michael Buble in late November.

Found this quite surprising, always assumed one or both of him and Austin would be off in the summer if we’re looking to bring in Hugo’s long term replacement, as that would be Lloris, new keeper and Forster as the three. Then again Lloris is only going to be around max until the end of next season as is Forster, so maybe it’s a case of locking in the preferred backup and shipping him off on loan until the two older keepers contracts expire or are sold. Or indeed maybe it’s a sign that we’ll offload Hugo in the summer, though I expect the club will pretty much allow Lloris to leave on his own terms.
TBH I was expecting Whiteman might have been off in January, given his contract was set to expire at the end of the season and he'd picked up a couple of seasons at Degerfors while Brandon Austin was getting the nod in matchday squads At the very least this pads out our CG numbers for Europe for a couple of seasons
We need to loan out these younger keepers to clubs where they'll play some football. They're not learning anything sitting on the bench for 10 years.
Alfie Whiteman interview: Comes across pretty well, given he probably hasn't done many of them. Needs to play regularly to prove himself, though. Loan next season, hopefully.
Reports saying Reguilon isn’t wanted by Atletico or Spurs so will have to find a new club this summer. Personally not a big fan of him but thought he would do ok for them as seemed a good fit for their system. So that’s another exit needed this summer? Is that 11 players now?
I'd have thought it could be more than that, as mad as it sounds. Reguilon's future may depend on who our manager is, though. I wouldn't completely write him off, yet.
