Tbf to Suckster, he didn't take a 6-month hiatus like Melt did after the 5-0 win at Old Trafford. :emoticon-0143-smirk

Jimmy hasn't posted too much for a couple of years now, think he's busy with job and kid. He'll probably be on later today to make a couple of comments.

    Best team won.

we gave them a game for 45mins then blew out.

we threw 3 goals in through pure bad defending.

we won the first 20 minutes. After that it was as it has been all season. We are a broken team atm.

Anyway... leaving emotion aside (anyone can have a little rant when things go to **** live)

We all knew the team was struggling. This is why I pulled out the post transfer window depression thread :) its pretty clear most folk could see we were going to have some troubles

We got beat up by the same issues we always have. the second the forward press shuts down the tactic of gambling by all running forward closing down means theres loads of gaps to play in. we then cock up on top of that and its a goal fest.

Once alaba lay down on whatever time 25 mins or whatever the game changed. Salah shut down. He never ran or pressed imo after that point. the positives are nunez scored a cracker and gakpo worked quite hard and made some good runs.

Bajcetic did get caught trying to take a risk there and that second goal start with him. was made worse by gomez and alisson made the final mistake. BUT the kid learned a lot and stuck in there, he was the one making passes into the final 10 mins when fabinho and henderson were long long gone as forces

Henderson played a really good 45mins. he really did.

The fact is we were up against real quality, real quality will score off any mistakes made. Another side under another manager at 2-0 might have absolutely shut the shop up and kicked every ball out of play and got a result. We have never ever had that and we don't have plan b. IMO our subs were **** as we took the young energetic forwards off and left the ineffective non pressing salah on. we lost 2 goals at least just form no press.

I'd love to say were are better but the reality is we are not. We won a couple games against bang average sides (newcastle were in 4 or 5 times and didn't have the quality to finish lets be honest) this is just the way it is.

We now have to really focus on winning every game possible in the league we can and just have to accept a game like man utd is going to be a **** show.

The required sacrifice for a win last night would have required 20 gallons of Kool-Aid :bandit:

Funnily enough under none of them. Never expected anything from them.

    But actually under Fergie.
