Also how would Thompson get a job as a bouncer??

All bouncers have to be vetted via the council, surely probation officers would not have allowed a guy like that to get a license!!

I know lads who can no longer do it due to fighting nevermind ****ing murdering a 2 year old!

Anport, I think a few accidental chip pan fires in the cell and a leaky roof would be better. Give them a few blasts of that before accidentally causing a gas leak in the cell. Preferably a slow acting gas that will cause them a good deal of pain.

    All accidentally of course

I suppose the idea behind them being released at 18 was down to the fact that as adults they would be more remorseful, understand what they did & should be allowed to get on with their lives like an adult would. They lost their childhood years as punishment so should be released early.

Putting them in an adult prison would have been detrimental to their rehabilitation due to the fact they would not be allowed to mingle freely ie would be in solitary with the nonces - if they did mingle they would be accustomed more to to imprisonment & the criminal world & would never learn.

I also know for a fact that Thompson was not in a cell. My girlfriends brother who is also my best mate worked at the prison Thompson was at & they all are decked out with tele's, playstations etc.

If the papers are to be believed, then Venables was brought in due to child porn and apparently he had been getting in fights with people he worked with. If true then it goes to show he is obviously not right in the head and is a danger to society. I find it hard to understand or comprehend what goes through people like his head and what makes them do such things.

I always assumed they would have somebody watching them for life?

Not just a probation officer who has another 5000 people to keep track of!!

According to the media it was a fight, he returned to Liverpool, he was reliant on drink & drugs, he sexually assaulted someone, he told people his true identity or it was child porn <doh>

I don;t believe anything being touted in the press because it is illegal for them to report it because they have anonymity for life & because it jeopardises his a fair trial for whatever he did.

If your on the jury for a scouser aged 27 the next few weeks who is up for one of the above you'll find them guilty because you think its Venables. He could also wrangle his way out by claiming he does not have a fari trial because of the media.

Also there is no way they'd allow Thompson to be a bouncer. If he got a job like that protecting people & having the potential to be in a violent confrontation there'd be outrage. Bouncers can't have criminal records like that, his probation officer would not allow him to do it.

automatically labelling a scouser guilty isnt exactly a new thing <doh> theiving scum.

its just the way they profess their innocence in that whiny, nasal voice.

Actually just googled it, a criminal record can be sealed when you turn 18 - it's up to the judge to decide. And given how the criminal database is easily searchable by many organisations and they were trying to give those 2 a new life I think it's fair to say their record would be sealed so that they couldn't be identified.

Apparently both have lost all traces of their accents, so they could fit into prison/society without being identified that way <ok>

But their probation officers know their true identity Mick <ok>

If they move city for whatever reason they get assigned a new probation officer & a new identity so the previous probation officer has no relevant information to pass on should he want to do so.

Those in the know will be updated with certain information about the pair, what profession they were in would be high up there & I'm pretty sure if they knew he was a bouncer they'd pull the plug on it.

Apparently only a very limited number of people know their new identity - indeed only 1 person in the prison is now supposed to know their true identity - which is balls - i mean is a prison guard honestly going to believe they are on 24 hour round the clock watch because they failed to pay their tv licence?

Was watching Andrew Marr the weekend & they had Harriet Harmon on & she said she could not talk about the offence he committed - highlighting that senior cabinet members are aware of it otherwise she would have said she doesn't know so can't answer!!

There must be numerous people who know to ensure he is keeping to the terms of his license.
