38 points was enough to stay up last season - we've already got 39 so far.

Sure we'll need a few more, but we really aren't in much danger.

There's hoping that we have three teams worse than us. I can't see where our next point is coming from. Loftus Road is not the fortress it once was.

He was offered the Rangers job, ffs. Why would someone continue in the Championship when Rangers and European football come calling?

He was offered the Wolves job first ! Why would anyone turn down the richest and best league in the World, to go to a ****hole of a division where only 2 teams compete and your going to the one which is currently much worse off than the other one , and little hope of turning that round ? The bloke is a **** for saying what he did publicly and then making a u turn on it days later ! End of

It's obvious his heart is with Rangers... They've also got European football and his stock will be twice as high when he wins the league up there, even if it is a two horse race.

His stock would've been higher if he'd stayed and got a promotion with us ! Doing well at Rangers means **** all these days, there's no guarantee that winning the title up there ( even if he manages that) would mean he'd get a job at a bigger club. Even if he did , things can quickly turn sour, just ask Gerrard. People that still believe the Scottish Prem is a big division, need to seek help immediately, its on a par with League 1. Celtic have much more financial clout than Rangers do at the moment and I can't see Rangrrs winning the league for the foreseeable future, with or without Beale. Lots of clubs tempted by hiring him in the future will be put off by what he said and then ultimately did. Anyhows this ain't a Beale thread, that one's been and gone. Let the **** be confined to history where he belongs !

    I thought that initially, but...

“Integrity is a real big thing for me and loyalty. You don’t give it to receive it back, but if those are the things you live by then at times when you are put in a position you have to be strong by them."

He signed a contract and reneged on it. He brought players to QPR and shat on the promises that he made to them. As it turns out, those players are every bit as shallow and unreliable as he is himself. He left behind a club that was poisoned. The man's a **** and so are you if you condone what he did,

    Bit harsh <laugh>

Sounds like the best thing he could have done for his career was to get out of your basket case of a club.

I know its upsetting when managers leave for bigger and better. I experienced it with Big Sam leaving Sunderland for the England job. It was a step up so I accepted it and didn't blame him. Now QPR are in that same boat. Man up and try to be at least a little dignified.

Totally agree, that's why I would put Ramsey in charge until the end of the season, given what we have to play with it would be a better option to appoint a permanent manager in the summer.

Yes, I’d take Roy Keane on a contract to the end of next season.

This is crazy and is becoming a farce. The Club discusses “sustainability” and “moving forward”, whilst we become totally destabilised and regress.

I just hope that we already have almost enough points to avoid dropping to L1 as that would be a financial disaster,

In my opinion, something is seriously wrong with our DOF structure and needs to change.

I have no idea what now will happen but we are in a self created mess. I personally would like a new DOF such as Mark Warburton.

I fear all the the good “progress” we have made over the last few years has unraveled.

Things are wrong and at some point you have to take a look at the day-to-day running of the club by the leaders.
Amit: has been very quiet in his role at the helm for the owners. Hard to know what his vision and impact is on the club, be nice to hear from him.
Hoos: is a bit marmite for many. However he has done a reasonable job over difficult years. Seems to bring grounding from a financial side. Failed on the new ground. Eventually came good on the training ground facilities. What’s his next key project for the club?
Sir Les: hmmmm. He has a lot of underlying fan love. But, there’s a but. What has he brought to the playing side of the football club through his tenure? I’m afraid I have to say not a lot. Carousel of managers. A poor academy/youth set-up with very little success (old boys coaching team). Under-performing recruitment set-up. Regressing team performance. In any other industry he would most likely have been replaced for his lack of end-product. Not saying it’s an easy job, but you would definitely expect much more given the time he has had.

Something is wrong with the football side of the club. I don’t think footballers care about the financial side of the club, only the financial side of their contracts.

Maybe it’s more to do with the skeleton of the club - the coaches and staff that haven’t changed or delivered over time. With a state-of-the-Art training ground we need coaches, medical staff, fitness teams and recruitment teams that can match the expectations of the owners, the set-up (and the fans if we mattered). Not sure we have that right now. Maybe it’s a bit stale and underwhelming. ‘The snake’ talked about changing things and it felt like he was looking at the academy set-up as well as the first-team. Who knows maybe there was resistance that had him doubting (its felt as though SLF and Ramsey are locked in for some time and don’t like intervention on their ‘patch’). All wild speculation with no evidence, just gut feeling.
Maybe the toxicity comes from the underlying ethos of longer-term back room staff. I’m not sure I can honestly see where else it comes from.

One thing is for sure something needs to change - and I don’t mean constantly changing the manager.
Let’s hope we can stay up. Let’s hope we can get a decent manager. Let’s hope something changes for the better. Please!

I don't have much confidence in the hierarchy appointing a suitable replacement, especially after the last 2. They went down a totally different route in their search and it's not worked out.
Personally, I think we should be scouring the market for someone with a knowledge of foreign players and try, to some extent, replicate the model that Brentford have used. Easier said than done but proven possible with a limited fanbase and small ground.

Outside of England not many folk will have heard of teams like Sunderland and QPR. More so QPR, tbh. Everyone in Europe will know who Glasgow Rangers are. They've just made a European final.

Most deluded board I've read in a long time <doh>
