Some good individual performances today from Davies, Royal and the two midfielders. It was games like today where we didn’t need the 3 CBs. I hate the formation against the weaker teams and at home.
Poor first half but very good 2nd half. West Ham are shocking but notheless its a very good win. Defensively we were very good and Davies and Emerson ( again ) superb. Thought Hojbjerg and Kulu really stepped it up in the 2nd half too.

Pretty dull first half, but they simply weren't in it after the break, barring a few minutes at the end. Davies worked well at left-wingback and we probably could've won by more. It was a shame that Lenglet had to go off to be replace by Perisic, though. The man's simply not a defender. We should try him in Kulusevski's role at some point. The Spam fans were very, very quiet before kick-off and for most of the game. That probably tells the whole story about Moyes and how their season is going. Hopefully they won't sack him until it's too late or they'll replace him with Nathan Jones.
