Don't forget last season, We absolutely battered Spurs away last year playing the 4 2 2 2. More of the same eh.
We could do with Iheanacho and Maddison picking up knocks today or next week, ahead of playing Leicester. Both already looking influential against United.
Everton's remaining fixtures are interesting. They've now finished against us, West Ham and Leeds. And they don't play Wolves or Bmouth again until the last two matches of the season. So their next 13 matches are against everyone in the top 14 except Liverpool. So no relegation six-pointers on the horizon. But a decent number of games against mid-table clubs, including at home (eg Villa, Brentford, Fulham), which you wouldn't be shocked at Dyche collecting a few more clean sheets in. So if they can continue grabbing that single goal...
Talk about against the run of play. But that's what happens, Leicester, when you don't take your chances.
Jeez that was an awful 45 mins of football. West Ham have come to sit in, aim for 0-0, and maybe see if they can benefit from a Spurs error (which is entirely understandable). Spurs lack the creativity, or indeed pace, to break West Ham down. Presumably at some point we'll be seeing Fraser vs Danny.
How do you end up with all three of your CBs running towards the same player? Especially when that player is Ben Davies. Not exactly Kane or Rashford. Good goal. But awful defending.
I still don’t understand how it wasn’t a handball in the first half. Spurs should have had a pen there for sure
