Yea it looked like there was very marginal contact, but that doesn’t make it a penalty, and the theatrics ensured it wasn’t.

 

Did Pelkas edit these? They don’t show where he rushed his square pass to Oscar when he had done the hard work and had actually got past the goalie. Apparently the same player missed a sitter in the first minute which it doesn’t show (was still in the pub)?

I don’t blame them, it seemed like Preston were desperate to get anything at any cost.

I know it’s been spoken about, but I quite liked that Tufan went down. We spoke about needing more ****housery in the side, looks like some players are stepping up in that regard.

 

Not really referring to that one game Chazz but performance in general. It’s no coincidence that when your performance is better you have more chance of winning. Of course it’s no guarantee you will and some will always take a **** performance and three points. I get that too.

 

But it was the quality of the dive that disappointed me! Clearly needs to work on it in training. I think even the north stand crowd were too embarrassed to appeal.

 

More than twice as many shots as PNE and 4 shots on target to their nil, I'd say that's outplaying them.

He actually got booked for it though , there should be more consistency on this

 

I think there's a decent amount of consistency. When players go down like that and no pen is given they always get booked.

 

I haven’t seen the highlights for Tufan’s dive/pen claim. From E5 it was hard to tell. Though I distinctly remember Connolly getting clipped in the box recently at home, staying on his feet but ultimately losing his balance and going down without getting a pen. If you don’t chuck yourself to the ground, you won’t get a pen, regardless of if there’s a foul.
