My bad. For some reason I thought Roca was fit enough for the bench today. I blame ell for not giving me a bullet proof stream so I never really saw the line up. Hopefully Roca will be OK for next week. Hopefully Wober is OK too.
The worst thing about it was that they were ****ing awful, useless, ****, crap and they still beat us fairly comfortably
Roca is one of those players that you think does nothing for the team until you take him out of the lineup and realise why he gets picked all the time. A bit like Gilberto at Arsenal. Crowd constantly had a go, passed sideways etc. then realised they lost every time he didn’t play

Ok so watched the game on IPTV without any glitches and after 25 mins it was clear we were going to struggle all afternoon. Would have snatched anybody's hand off for a 0-0 as we just couldn't pass the ball and/or retain possession and mentioned to Jammy Jnr that this was clearly one of those away days where we wouldn't register a shot on target. That said, we've gifted Everton the game, which is the most frustrating part for me. Whilst it was still 0-0 I'm thinking you never know as it's possible they may have tired a bit and we just might have nicked it. So firstly, if Wober is playing left channel they don't score that goal as he would have read the game better and got closer to Coleman. That said it was 100% completely Meslier's fault. Too far off his line which was just unfathomable especially with no Everton players in the penalty area. After the concession we huffed and puffed a bit but we were never getting back into that game. So guys it is what it is and what do we do now, should we throw the baby out with the bathwater or do we fight for our lives in the remaining 15 matches ? Dyche is gone, so no point me saying I told you so. The next best option is now probably Benitez, or we throw as much money as it takes at Feyenoord or Real Vallecano, but what's clear is that we need expert help and we need it now.

Were our world-beaters held back by a futsal coach that doesn’t have a scoobie? Or is dyche just so good our superior squad were just rendered useless by a coaching masterclass? Don't know mate. Predicted 17th myself and then thought after January we could maybe get up to 15th. It's possible we still might, but obviously the fact we've had our U21's coach in charge for 3 games now wasn't part of the equation. 0-1 at Forest...and now 0-1 at Everton. season defining results unfortunately.
We are a club now with three defensive mids. No skillful playmaker has been recruited. Without rodrigo we have no striker. Our left back was nowhere to be seen for the Everton goal... Where the hell was he. Meslier is not a top class goalie. Some great goalies on show today on match of the day and a step up from our level.
FFS just finished watching MOTD, stayed clear of everything so i would not to hear the result, including this forum, Everton got to be the shi***** team we have played yet, problem was we were even worse, big question now are we capable of beating anyone in this league, i am now a realy realy worried SouthernWhite.
