I thought personally gakpo looks more comfortable coming deeper and nunez was at least getting back in fitter and that's helped us a lot at the same time. thaigo though... just gaps left right and centre around him so we just can't afford a guy who won't bloody track and block. he'll jog on up, half block the walk back while we are defending 2 v 1 in his channel. roll on next year when bajcetic has two new partners in there. this forward line might just start paying off (here is hoping)

Lfc put our a tweet showing the second goal from high angle. Ball at Ali’s feet and 6 passes later, ends up at Gakpo to score. But what I missed in the build up and shows a great angle from above is Bajcetic. Received the ball from Vvd with newcatsle player closing. Easy thing is knock it back to Gomez or keeper, instead, opens his body takes it on the half turn to lose his man and then drives into midfield with it. So calm under pressure and classy with ball at his feet.
