Pope suspended, Willock injured, Wilson probably still not fit and now it looks like Joelinton could be injured. I think just hand Man Utd the trophy now.
its ok tho because we are better than we were under bruce so who cares lets just be positive and trust our glorious leaders like lock stepping mindless puppets
Well we're concerned with getting beaten in a cup final and losing to Liverpool to drop out of the top 4. We used to be worried about our players still being able to run after half time and how many times our manager would blame fan expectations of not being in the relegation zone. #progress
I dunno how many times in my life I've seen teams do well enough to sit in the top 4 by Christmas, only to fall away and have a **** second half the season. If I have seen it plenty of times, the old boys on our board have certainly seen it countless of times. The fact that people are seemingly in shock and awe that this has happened, when we have been absolutely atrocious for weeks, is mind boggling.
Fair point, perspective is important but your fans might not see it that way and hound out King Edward.
Not going to happen this season but if we drop to a point we don't qualify for Europe and then start slowly next season then I could certainly see a point around October where the tide could turn. Could pretty much say that about any manager though i guess.
If we lose that final (which, seems inevitable at this point.) Then go on and finish, say, 12th, serious questions need to be asked. Since promotion under Rafa we have finished: Rafa - 17/18 - 10th Rafa - 18/19 - 13th Bruce - 19/20 - 13th Bruce - 20/21 - 12th Howe - 21/22 - 11th Howe needs to be hitting minimum top 10 and that's being friendly, considering the teams around us (and playing better) like Fulham, Brighton and such, have not been spending like we have. We have a golden chance to be getting in a really strong position. What the club was doing this transfer window, baffles me. We wasted the entire month.
