apparently newcastle hard done by somehow. the rule shall been thus for what 20? years. all he needed do was slide for ball with feet and boot it. he dived at one v nunez as well and was nearly under it. its fairly clear however has got a lot out of him as a sweeper keeper compared to the stuck on the line burnely version of Pope but he clearly has a bit to learn about outside the pen area play lol. I do feel sorry for the lad but he only has himself to blame.
Well we middle the half shockingly but improved for finally 8/9mins. I reckon we will do OK second half for a little while then both sides will roll subs. newbie down to 2 sub changes and 4 subs. (unless they pump some on at ht) this is really all about howe now. we would want him to stick the big men on, the big slow ones. really we want firmino, jota, Elliott on for the front three and haul fabinho off just in case here. if we can get.all that done and keep it 2-0 great but I'd love us to score a couple more.
Was about to say same thing. Most important thing is to win this game. However every goal we score has a 2 goal swing and in the battle for top 4 which could be important and obviously gives the players a bit more confidence. Nunez and gakpo need the goals to justify their price tag, Salah needs some goals just to ease the comments about poor form.

He grabbed the ball knowing he ****ed up and it was about to run into Salah's path with no defence and a open goal. He purposely handled it to prevent a very obvious goal. He cheated

Yeah I think he handballed it when he fell as it hit both his arms and stopped going through. If was just that I’d say was harsh, but he then stuck out his arm grabbed the ball and pulled it towards him. That’s what made it a clear red for me
Anthony Taylor apparently now has a medical degree and can check him over himself so can give it back to Newcastle under no pressure rather than joelinton with ball 2 yards from goal line with 2 lfc players around him
What irks me is this will go down if we win as LIverpool win against 10 man Newcastle If we lose we will get deservedly torn apart Same with a draw So literally no win situation
