Funny thing is, all our subs I was thinking, 'what the f*ck?'. But, credit where it's due, the three runners up front definitely took the pressure off (slightly). As good as Sulemana will be in the future, I don't think he is willing to Shane Long it like Adarma and Mara. Sometimes you really need a headless chicken or two up top.
I can't stop looking at the table, and wishing that the match last week finished on 65 mins. Add three points to our total, and deduct them from Wolves'... So frustrating that we had Jones in charge for what was such a big game.
Good result, pity other results didn’t go our way but if we had lost then that would’ve been the final nail you would think. Performance was very good, can’t really say anyone had a poor game apart from maybe Ely who was just himself. Thought Bednarek was very good and can see a decent potential partnership with ABK. Bazunu also did well as he normally does but we managed to not give the opposition a tap in to ruin his shots saved stats
All media talk will be about how poor Chelsea were, and Potter will get the sack, but feck me didn't we look like a proper football team again?!
I know many have with good reason questioned his staying at the Club, but Ralph wanted him to stay and were it not for injury interruptions, Theo might have been more prominent. As it is, by all accounts a great team job today and it's good job 'The Great Escape' is on until May at venues up and down the UK. BRILLIANT COYR!!!!!
Its the hope that kills you. Fully agree with this. THIS is why this season has been devastating. Because we know we have this in us.
How much did that Chelsea team on the pitch today cost? However much, not enough to buy the sense of pride I have in Saints this afternoon COYR
I’m absolutely shocked by that performance. Brilliantly set up by Selles and thank goodness for JWP. We looked really clinical on the counter and could easily have had another couple. absolutely delighted and surprised in equal measure.
Definitely. At the same time, holy hell did we need to win here given today's results. We're a result away from getting out of the zone with Leeds/Leicester upcoming, but had we lost today, we'd be hopelessly adrift.
That. Now that. That was ****ing incredible. Ruben be the man Only downside is Evertoin and Bournemouth also winning. Still, **** them. We've done our bit.
It would be a super-****ty thing to do, to bring in a new manager now. Would rightly really piss Selles off as well, one would imagine. I do hope we don't.
