We've been hit-and-miss under Wagner so far: three hits, two misses. But the hits have been real hits - arguably the best three performances of our season, and certainly our most entertaining. And the misses can in theory be explained by the drag of the last season and half, so we won't see many more of them. We hope.

A few weeks ago, this game would have been seen as a gimme. Wigan were real whipping boys, bottom of the league and sinking fast. But three games into their new manager and they're unbeaten and just a win away from climbing out of the relegation zone. They are starting to look like the Wigan that came to Carrow Road at the start of the season and managed a draw.

Also a few weeks ago, the absence of Pukki would have panicked us, but our attack looked dangerous against Hull even without him. Was that simply because Hull were poor and chose not to press? Or have we really turned a corner in terms of our attacking threat?

Although it's not quite a must-win in terms of making the play-offs, anything except a win will be very dispiriting and put even more pressure on each game that follows. So, as always, COYY!

Norwich City will be without Teemu Pukki for tomorrow’s Championship clash v Wigan Athletic.

Norwich City boss David Wagner has confirmed that Pukki, 32, will miss tomorrow’s game v Wigan Athletic with a fresh injury concern. The Finn was benched for the last outing v Hull City, having scored twice in Wagner’s first five games in charge of the club.

Wagner also revealed that Sam McCallum and January signing Marquinhos are back in training, but it seems as though he and McCallum are still sidelined ahead of tomorrow’s game at the DW Stadium.

Have a bit of a laugh at the expense of the BBC. Hearing that Arsenal had come from behind to beat Villa, I went to check the match report by one Harry de Cosemo. Here is how it began:
"Unai Emery's Aston Villa denied his former club Arsenal the chance to go back to the top of the Premier League as they played out a dramatic draw at Villa Park. Villa twice went ahead through Ollie Watkins and Philippe Coutinho in the firstt half as they hosts pressed high early on. They were pegged back by strikes from Bukayo Saka and Oleksandr Zinchenko either side of the break, but Villa's defensive strength was evident as they earned a deserved point. Mikel Arteta's side remain level on points with Manchester City, but are now winless in three league games"
This was despite the banner at the top correctly reporting Arsenal's 2:4 victory, with 2 late goals in injury time <laugh>

I'm pinning my hopes on this one, but so far no sign of life.
