Those who defend islamic law in any form should spend a week living under it. you wont complain, you wouldnt ****ing dare. To Irish Green...... I use my own opinion and the fact I ****ing despise religion.....Islam more than any other because while everyone else has to some degree arrived in 2011 its still 600BC in Islamic terms.
I hate all religion too, this is not a thread about religion, but it would be a bit hard for the Muslims to be living in the year 600 BC saying as it was founded in the 400s AD. On your point about living under "Islamic Law" ( there are many different sects of Islam all with different laws ), it cant be that bad to live under in Iran surely as the Iranian Jews find their life there comfortable enough to be able to refuse Israeli financial incentives and free land and property to relocate to Israel

Islamic fundamentalism (and the unbelievably strict laws that accompany) is actually quite a recent thing. Before that it was the major driving force for major advances in science, mathematics etc. Where do you think trigonometry comes from? At this time is was Christianity which was rejecting all notions and ideas that didn't include religion, and in barbaric fashion. England has been far more barbaric over the course of history than Islam seems to have been. This includes colonialism (including colonialism in the middle east), crusades etc...
