Yes I know but that's not my point tbf, we took 50,000 to Wembley but we won't fill the ground tomorrow. I'm not being rude but I believed your allocation was 2000. Sunderland say that figure hasn't yet been reached and it's 6pm on the night before the match. I don't think it's outrageous to doubt you'll be bringing 2,500 tbh,.
I wonder if the Bristol team are flying up tomorrow. The weather agencies are forecasting gale force winds and have been all week. If they fail to take that into consideration, and don't show up, will they be punished. I have Sunderland mates up from Devon, Dave Ashfield, etc, who've already arrived in the NE just in case of problems ... ... they'll be seriously radged if it's all for nothing. Edit - seems the fans flight was cancelled but the team made it on a chartered flight ... ... now lets put the wind up them
I doubt he'll start but I'm sure we'll see him at some point ... ... our attacking threat, withoiut Stewart, is absoliutely incredible for a team that finished so low in L1.
It was on our forums- i reckon around 1600 if what our club is saying which is more likely to be true.
Cheers, I was just wondering as that would be double your average for your longest trip. We were told Millwall would bring thousands and it was more like 5/600 ... ... Looks like you'll have more than double that.
We'll start to see him come off the bench in the next few weeks I'd expect, we've just given him a bit of time to settle in and get up to fitness (it's great that we have that luxury). I'm absolutely certain that he is the replacement for Amad next year and that he'll be another top signing. I'm curious as to how our fans (not the more sensible ones on here) see our transfer business when players start to leave. I think in most positions (probably anywhere but keeper or striker) we'll sell a player when the offer is right and promote from within the existing squad. So for example, Amad would be replaced by Lihadji, Ballard by Anderson, Neil by Ekwah/Matete, Clarke by Bennette. Then I think we'd spend some of the cash on a replacement who can provide competition plus some more young talent who need developing. I think some of our fans would want all of the money spent on an immediately better player than the one that left.
Heading up today, hoping for a win. Is now a good time to mention I haven’t seen the lads win in person since a 3-0 win against Barrow in the FA Cup…. Hoping my luck finally changes
Tested positive for Covid yesterday so no match for me today. Brother in law is taking the bairn so glad he doesn’t miss out
Just feels like a cold, I had a feeling I had it on Thursday and tested positive, the bairn thankfully tested negative today so gets to go.
You ever been in the Bongo club. That was an interesting place between midnight n 2 in the morning for a gargle.
My problem is other clubs realise what we are doing now so why would they sell us any players cheap anymore?
