Best presser I’ve seen since early Ralph. Very impressed with Rubén’s articulacy, his football knowledge, and his passion.
If only we got Premier League points for speaking well. We’d be top of the league already based on ankersen/semmens. Sprinkle in some Selles magic and we’d be flying.
Just watched it and super impressed. Some interesting things in there - he mentions "clear communication this week with Martin" - no mention of Rasmus there. Wonder if he's been shifted to concentrate on other stuff? Also I think we'll be seeing 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Thank the lord. Lots of mention of Ralph in there, in terms of taking those good bits of his time. Strange there was no mention of the Welsh fellow. Quietly optimistic actually. He seems bright, progressive, thoughtful and humble.
If he manages to coach a single instance of a pass being dropped into the path of a runner rather than behind them I'll be amazed and will kiss his beautiful face at the earliest opportunity.
I'm actually pissed off with Nathan Jones in his feeble attempts to lay the blame everywhere but himself. He completely missed out blaming Guly. What a ****ing amateur.
I can't work out if I'm looking forward to this or not. On the one hand, I'm worried that this could be the game where Chelsea get their finishing into gear (even back when they had Werner missing for fun, he still seemed to score past us every time). On the other hand, we get to enjoy not having Jones picking the team.
I'm looking forward to it mainly because it's my first trip to Stamford Bridge in ages where the forecast isn't horrendous.
I'm looking forwards to this: I'm going, I don't have to drive, or get up early on Sunday. The trains are running in most directions, so I will end up somewhere. Oh, and we'll win, by using the as yet untested method of being in the lead at the final whistle.
