Did not sound good. Hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

He seemed to be in a lot of pain.
Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. <ok>

Hi there, Spurs fan in peace, just came over to see if there was any news on his injury?

Have to say from his reaction and the manner in which he went down, I instantly thought he'd ruptured his cruciate ligaments. Having gone through the same thing myself I sincerely hope I'm wrong and that it's not too serious.

Good luck to him, and to Fulham for the rest of the season, you deserved a point today.

    Morning Wandering Yid.

No news that I can see yet. Desperately hoping it's not serious, because he's at the wrong end of his career for those kind of injuries.

Cheers, nice to see you're not as arrogant or delusional as some other Spurs fans.

Unfortunately Grygera has ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and it doesn't look promising for the rest of the season.

Sad news. He may have played his last game for us then - did he sign that new contract?

Regardless, take care Zdenek, hope to see you in a Fulham shirt again soon.

I've done that (ACL)twice, once for each knee. The pain is so extreme, your body automatically goes into shock. That's why they gave him oxygen on the field to keep him from passing out.

Good luck to him ... we might see him before the end of the season is out, but more likely it will be next year.

With regards to his contract, I found a quote from Jol (how accurate it is I can't guarantee) from 28/10/11: "We've had an agreement with him that if he is playing well then we will sit down," said Jol. "It's risky as he could go to another club."

He's currently on a one-year contract. So if he doesn't sign an extension (which, unfortunately, is now likely) then he has indeed played his last game, should his injury keep him out for the season.

Most painful thing I have ever experienced, words can't really describe it. The moronic A&E doctor I saw failed to recognise what I had done (and didn't think to send me for scans <doh>) so I was forced to walk around on it for a month before I realised it wasn't going to get any better. This month included a two week trip to Russia in December, it didn't like the cold very much! Then my surgeon botched the first operation. Finally feel like it's sorted now 5 years later!

Sounds ghastly DR. Shame. I (yes, even I) had high hopes of Grygera.

Too true, Wandering ... I remember lying on the gym floor wondering, why is the room spinning? Why am I about to vomit...? Not much fun. That's why I always turn off the TV when they replay some player's knee giving out. The sight of it makes me queasily.

Fulhamam ... yes, one can't feel anything but sympathy for Grygera. I thought he was playing well enough, not as well as Pantsil for us, but better than Hughes. In the last couple games I thought he started playing with a bit more confidence than I'd seen from him.

But, yes, we need another right back ASAP.
