Was very surprised that there was just over 5000 last night. Looked a lot more and certainly more from Grimsby that they said. If that was Scally we would be thinking someone fiddling the books:emoticon-0103-cool:

I found this on twitter if it's of use to anyone that didn't see the game, it appears a condensed view of the game. If you want to skip the pre match chat then skip straight to 5:15 mins, combined with alwaysright link it gives you some good insight to last nights match, at a guess 4 or 5 mins of each half...

I think Wrexham must get 10k every game, also have an immense away following I believe. I assume the 10k every game is discounted.

I was thinking recently after our discounted game at home to Crawley, i wonder if they've thought about doing discounting differently. My example would be rather than just charging a quid it should be a minimum of £3, then a scarf (£12) or other item of similar value is sold with every ticket sale, so the total value of the ticket is £15, so still discounted, but you get a scarf thrown in, which then automatically boosts merchandise sales.

I do wonder what clubs like Newcastle do, when you see every fan with either a scarf or a flag, I wonder if we are missing a sales trick here.

Wrexham's ticket prices are very similar to Gills
    Online sales for Adults = £ 19-£21...Over 65 = £14- £16...Under 18 =£8 - £9.. Under 11 = £5.....
    Season tickets are£340-£374...Seniors -£255 -= £289...Under 18 = £100...Under 11 = £23 (( which equates to £1 a game )).... The
in-person sales are generally £1 more ...Wrexham regularly get 10,000 without any giveaway......... I think it comes down to banging in goals for fun .....(( the fans' fun. ))

    I don't actually like a front row / 'wormseye-level' view.... The No.6 definitely guilty of handball (( 4min .33 ))
