"In addition, a small allocation has been allocated to our hard-working full-time staff, our players and coaches’ families, our owners and our official partners at a ratio that benchmarks favourably in comparison to other clubs that have reached domestic cup finals in recent years." It certainly does make it sound like the club have 'taken' a lot of additional tickets to allocate directly, reducing the amount made available to fans. Agree with Trev, there should be more transparency from the club here.
If the ground is to be expanded, what do you think is going to happen to memberships whilst the work gets carried out?
I imagine if there is a significant reduction in capacity then tickets going to members and general sale will be reduced, although with some careful planning and construction this could be limited. I suppose the point I am trying to make is that the club need to dangle a carrot to keep the members paying every year. The clubs current plan seems to be to try and increase membership otherwise they would have just released 10,000 extra season tickets last year.
There is no point in increasing season tickets as the same problems will arise again and again. They'd be as well just making a waiting list now and people slowly get them over time as and when people either don't renew or they get to watch from heaven
Your heart doesn't own anything mate... like I said that idea is fantasy and it's fine , but let's not fool ourselves. My heart would love to believe it owns many things, but unfortunately I own what I pay for and nothing else.
Apparently some people who were not successful in the ballot are getting calls from the box office as they seem to have some tickets available through returns etc. They are apparently starting with people who were in P4
Ticket: 'a piece of paper or card that gives the holder a certain right, especially to enter a place, travel by public transport, or participate in an event.' "admission is by ticket only" So, you have a paperless piece of paper.
