really poor from the most over rated keeper in the prem. scuffed shot. little deflection but actually through ramsdale there.

I have to say though every bad habit from arsenal is fully in show. what they are at is exactly how we hammered them a couple times when they coughed up goals to jota. taking massively stupid unnecessary risks to draw city on to their own goal.line rather than just going forward. arsenal just denied the same sort of pen given first half but the angle shows trossard did go into walker. the other angle looks more of a pen than the first half one so sort that out.

guardiola made the changes. they've pressed up much better second half and really arsenal are making errors under pressure in their own 3rd. they've not got players faced the right direction and have been casually flicking ball straight back at passer who was already closed down. play out from back and you simply must must must get turned facing right way. look at matip for how poor we have got at this. half the time he is complete not arsed getting good position and is very very pressable.

I missed the game tonight but it sounds like the old Arsenal. They've been utterly useless at playing out from the back for years - I thought that this season they'd finally improved in that area but maybe not?
Arsenal are going to bottle it. Though they have a game in hand and still have to play city at the Etihad. They need to beat city away to stand a chance.
They were decent at doing it for most of the game but got caught out 3 or 4 times and city were just clinical when they made errors.

He never thought of launching on into channels where forward ought to be running nor to play it wide at say full backs at half way. No drop it short so city were right up on that. Its really down to getting caught out after winning the ball back. The third had several warnings and near misses. I think its ramsdale out to gabriel whos not turned, really poor position and then it ends up at zinchenko? whos facing wrong way and coughs it up. city again go hard and fast but theres no recovery form zinchenko. hes outside the runner for gundogan and theres gaps. Arsenal really threw that game away but they had warning after warning to tighten up.
