And both subsidised by the ratepayers. He also said Premier League football never brought a penny peice to the area. Never forget that.
Have a job it was bulldozed last year. Even having the 'biggest travelling fair in Europe' or the twice weekly tat market on its doorstep couldn't bring enough punters in to make it worthwhile opening it's doors. Walton Street, outside has tumbleweed blowing down it for most of the week. No passing trade, no footfall, no benefit to anyone except a handful of car booters and a one week a year travelling fair.

A sad loss from which Hull has never recovered. Just think where it could be now with him guiding things. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...ews/ex-hull-councillor-terry-geraghty-1596351
Didn't help. agreed, but you'd think having the biggest travelling fair in europe across the road and the hugely popular ( according to Hull Live) twice weekly market on its doorstep would compensate that?
It would be nice to see any new sports village set up include a place for the east riding county FA, the current set up is streets ahead of where they used to be housed, but being surrounded by the uni isn't the best place imo....
The ERCFA have enough money in its coffers to be a significant partner in this project if it ever came to fruition.
No idea where there are decent pitches now? Saltend? But they won’t want to pay the full price of a stadium I doubt.
At a guess? Not a lot. Rumour has it they are already £600k in rent arrears where they are. Allegedlly
If never given the chance we will never know will we? I do know Hull City Ladies are looking for a base in Hull and isn't womans football more popular than rugby league ( and attracting more money) at the moment?
