Brilliant performance and we are on a really good run of form, some of these players are starting to get noticed and their price tags will be canny heavy.
I want us to hold onto all of them but if the big boys come calling with big money we would be daft to refuse, we could reinvest heavily with the sales of one or two.

Thought this was funny, he’s done it before in league one and was in there a while before they kicked him out, but can’t remember what match it was.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Couldn't agree more. We have a huge summer ahead. Assuming we are still in this division, there will be suitors for the likes of Patterson, Ballard, Alese, Neil, Stewart, Clarke etc - is the club strong enough to keep this squad together, or do we accept we lose some players but limit it to 2 or 3? We have to sign a minimum of 2 permanent strikers and find a replacement for Amad.

If we can keep the core together, we will be amongst the favourites to go up next year. Having said that, there's a real possibility we could find ourselves in the play-offs this season - in that event, anything can happen!

No excuse for such a shyte Millwall turnout when they have a chance of going up to the PL.

They were boasting about taking 3000 to QPR on Saturday which is NINE miles.

There's trains to Coventry every 30 minutes that take less than two hours ...

... they'd have been home last night before I came down off the ceiling <laugh>

You don't get support like ours outside of the North East. It's a different breed. Even those arseholes up road travel in huge numbers. There are only a handful of clubs who have supporters with anything like our kind of passion.

I still think back to Leicester winning the league in 2016 - the moment the title was sealed, SSN cut to a local pub where people were shaking hands and gently hugging

If that had been us? I'd still be ****ing pissed now. Some fans don't deserve successful clubs

We had twice the distance to travel last night ...

... and now the team is matching our passion there's no stopping us.

If they are that good why would we need to?

    That's right mate.

I really can't see any of the top six clubs coming in for any of our lads just yet and of the others, who has the level of support and infrastructure that is greater than ours?

A good deal of the squad have only been with us for 18 months or less and have witnessed first hand how far the club have come in that time.

Money is the only thing that might work against us, in that lads want to earn more than we can pay them or the club receive what they feel is a good offer which they can't refuse.

Whether we go up or not, potential investors might see us as a big club heading back in the right direction with a clear plan of action in place and further investment could allow us to increase some of the players earnings sufficiently to keep them at the club.

I certainly hope so. Either way, we are a club that is going places.

Definitely mate, the only problem I see is what happens if the player/ players don’t want to go to the likes of Everton or West Ham etc, certainly a good problem and also fairly unique, not going because they are happy.

You could see last night that they were all enjoying their football and there's a great camaraderie between them. Some of them have already witnessed that the grass is not always greener elsewhere.

Cheers for the recommendation, my youngest was in there last night and enjoyed himself with his mates. Think he said they bumped into Wakey who recommended another pub just down the road but apparently that was designated home fans only so had to miss out, then again after numerous pints it all becomes a little bit hazey yet strangely enough he can remember, most. of the match.

Nice one mate, he must've had a great night.

Wakey is a great fella who has a knack of sorting out some cracking pre-match pubs.

    Quote from JC

We've got two wins in a row now and we'd like to keep pushing forward and take it into Saturday. They're all big games at the moment, especially as we try to achieve what we set out to achieve at the start of the season, and we need to keep on picking up as many points as possible

The message from the club has been consolidation and getting players experience. But I wonder what the internal message between management and players has been?

I recall prior to the season starting quite a few questioning whether the players could hack it in this division. Well that one has been put to bed.

I thought they'd do better in this division. Less teams trying to kick us off the pitch and time wasting etc (some exception to that of course). Our players can express their ability better
